Andy + Fei

Andy and Fei are getting married in May, here are a few of the photos from their pre wedding/engagement shoot in Downtown LA on Saturday.

Cake at work

We had cake at work on Friday, and I found this photo I took of it in the camera today.

Stinky Tofu

I am pretty picky with what I eat and always want to know what’s in the food I’m being served. There’s a lot of things “I don’t like”, while in fact, I’ve actually never tried it… I like to think I’ve gotten a lot better over the last few years though, mostly because my friends have been picking on me, and today I tried Stinky Tofu!
To my surprise, I didnt think it was very stinky at all!

Chinatown By Night

I helped out during a photo shoot in downtown, right by Wurstkuche, so we popped in for a quick beer. I heard some rumors that they will open a new one in May on Lincoln Blvd, not far from us!
We stopped by Chinatown for dinner on the way home.

Backbone Trail Hike

Another great day for hiking, we hit up the Backbone Trail in Topanga Canyon.

We were a little confused as to how long the hike would be as some sources said 2.5 miles, and others said 8 miles.  It came clear to us quickly though that it was gonna be uphill the entire time until it was time to turn around back home.

After about an hour of hiking, we decided that it was an 8 mile hike. It was nice and shady for the most part and the uphill part wasn’t that difficult at all.

It was a great hike, we didnt quite make it all the way up to the top, but did a good 2 hours and 45 minutes uphill before heading back down.

After Work Walk

I had to give my body some rest and have not done my usual after work run this week. I got a new camera on Tuesday and was dying to try it out so I went for a walk this afternoon.

The Bird of Paradise, Los Angeles official flower.

There’s a lot of these little Mexican joints in my neighborhood, ever time I walk by one I think to myself I should try one. I should really try one!

Reached the goal, the supermarket. Egg, milk, beers and juice, all you need to survive!

The sun sets over Marina del Rey.

Winter in Los Angeles

There’s a lot of things I could and should have done today, but it was a beautiful day so we took a walk down to the beach instead.

Superkickass at WWA Gallery

I had never been to the WWA Gallery, which is funny cos it’s right in the middle of Downtown Culver City.  They had an exhibition opening, so we went there to check it out.

It turned out to be a nice gallery with a bunch of cool art!

Wedding Expo

It was a beautiful day today, so why not come with a friend to spend it inside at the Wedding Expo in the Convention Center?

I did not know there were such a thing as a Wedding Expo, and it was a little overwhelming at times, but fun for the most times.

I was all pinked out by the end of the day though, and went home and made coconut cookies.
