Last Day of School!

I started school in fall-07 and have taken classes every single quarter since, including the summer quarters, and I handed in my final final today! Kind of a big deal! I’ve now got a certificate in Design Communication Arts as well as a certificate in Advanced Print and Design Communication.

This is where I’ve been hanging for the last 2.5 years:
I only had a few classes in the computer lab, most of the classes was focused on fundamentals, history, and theory etc, but my last class was Web Design II so the lab was where I was at.
All we had to do for the last class was to hand in the final and we were let out super early. I came home and we played some playstation and opened a bottle of Rose to celebrate! We got a power shortage in the middle of a game so we were chilling on the couch with candles instead, good times!

Back at the Mall

I’ve never been a big fan of shopping – I’m weird that way. I never find anything I like and then I get bored. Went to the mall today to buy birthday presents, I started to regret it as soon as I stepped through the doors at the mall… so crowded and loud! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the mall unless I really have to.

Had Korean food for a friends birthday. Instead of giving us bread they gave us popcorn to munch at as we were ordering dinner! Me like!

East Canyon Hike

After the cranky pants hike a few weeks ago, we decided to do a short hike this weekend.









They Fixed It! -Well not really….

I came home from Mammoth last night and they had fixed my sealing. They had drilled five huge holes, taken care of some stuff and re-patched the holes, and all that’s left is just to paint it. Well, kind of… I was just about to go to bed around midnight last night when I could hear it dripping again. Now instead of one bucket, I need 5!!

We started the day with making sure all the cars would start later for our departure. Here’s the result of 36 hours of snow.

It stopped snowing, but the snow was still sweet.
Penguin is down!

Cow used is tail for balance, so he didnt fall.

Mammoth Day 2

It was snowing throughout the night and the Animals were excited for a day on the mountain.

I guess I have been spoiled, but this is the longest I’ve been having to wait in line for the lift in many years!
The snow kept coming down all day!

Cow is tired after a day of boarding.
Beer in the hot tub is sweet after a day on the mountain, the snow was still coming down hard!

It was cold to dig out the beers from the snow, whoever messed up in the game had to dig them out…

The Gorilla

I decided to hang out with W today and swapped my skis for a board. I was considering buying a board for a while, but it is really not that much fun, don’t think I will be boarding that much in the future. It is kind of fun boarding around like a gorilla though.

Gorilla was wet at the end of the day and had to hang out in the shower for the rest of the weekend.

Off to Mammoth

Car is packed and we’re ready for another weekend at Mammoth Mountain!

We left right after work and arrived at around 11pm, it was pretty cold in the condo, but there were a fireplace!
Unfortunately, they had not left us any paper or matches to light the fire… we were determined to have the fire light by the time the second load of people showed up so we used paper napkins and the stove.
Wohoo! We’ve got pretty solid fire skills!
