Vacation

I usually run around doing a bunch of touristy stuff and getting to know the country when I am travelling, but my plan this time was to do absolutely nothing, and that’s exactly what I did today, kind of.
Started the day off by chilling at the beach.

I didn’t see any fish in the water but they had big fish tanks at the hotel so I could fake a photo and make it look like I’m swimming with the fishes.

Walked over the bridge for lunch, really pushing the not doing anything here.

Made it to Bones Sea Food. Conch is apparently a local favorite so I had to try.

I didn’t expect the conch salad to be a ceviche, I wasn’t stoked when I got it but it was not all that bad. I’d order the fried conch next time.

More beach time after lunch, and a Pina Colada in a coconut!

Went to the Red Door for late night drinks and dancing. I felt very very much out of place.

Came home late and found someones left overs in the corridor. I thought it was a little gross, but I still had to take a photo.

Nassau, Bahamas

I was actually mid-air when 2014 turned into 2015, a couple of people cheered on the plane, but most of us just wanted to go back to sleep.

I made it to Nassau and the hotel. Got handed a cold beer and a room key and was told to go have fun by myself while waiting for the boys to be done with work.

I have made it into a tradition to go to the beach on new years day, and this year was no exception.

I drank a late lunch.

New Years Eve at the airport

This is what happens to me when I have a little bit of time to spare and nothing to do. I decide to go visit Awesome Asher in the Bahamas over the weekend. Why not? I have never been, and who doesn’t want to spend new years eve at the airport?

Dec 20 Beer, Mammoth Brewing Company

Tuesday is Farmers Market in Culver City so I stopped by and picked up an empanada to have with my beer.
Real McCoy Amber Ale from Mammoth Brewing Company.
Dave McCoy was the guy who set up the first rope tow at Mammoth Mountain in 1948.

Homebound

It might be a little early in the morning for a beer, but I need one so I can fall asleep before they even close the doors before take-off.

Bjäre

It was freezing out today and I could feel a bit of a cold coming on, but I didn’t wanna stay in and be bored so I went for a walk with the family instead.

Beach day

A beach day in December in Sweden is a little different from a beach day in Southern California.

I think my mom likes to take advantage of me and have me exercise her pony. I don’t really mind though, it’s tons of fun and a good work out but I get exhausted after 15 minutes. I’m not in as much control as I used to be when I played with these creatures.

Came home and dad started cooking, he has a great sous chef.

Got to see a dance performance after dinner, excellent!

Christmas Eve

December 24th and Christmas Eve, got to make ourselves look pretty!

This day is just meant for drinking and eating. Not much else on the schedule.

Time for gift exchange! I can see at least one with my name on it!

The kids got selfie sticks.

We had to try it out!

Talyllyn Abel

It’s winter and I’m in Sweden so it’s supposed to be snow, but it mostly just rain during the winter in southern Sweden. We took the stallion out on a road trip since it’s no fun to play outside.

Here I am, trying to play it cool but feeling like I have zero control.

Crayfish for dinner!
