Woke up to rain

Let’s get the hell out of here!

I got a X-mas tree when we came back from camping, Christmas has officially started.

Camping day 2

Today was one of those mornings when I needed to get up to go to the restroom but waited it out as long as possible in the hopes that someone else would be awake and start the fire.

Someone had seen something on some TV show how they made scrambled eggs in a ziploc bag, it wasn’t super quick, but we had fun doing it.

We went for a hike after breakfast, there wasn’t really a marked out trail, we just picked a direction and started walking.

Someone managed to get me in a photo! Classic “rest on one hip” pose, I really should stop doing that.

Came back to the site and played Cards Against Humanity.

Camping in Angeles National Forest

Camping last Thanksgiving was cold, but a ton of fun, so we wanted to do it again this year. We picked a site little closer this year though, only a couple of hours away.

We stopped to take a photo of the view going up the hill, I was trying to recover from a twist and turn car ride and couldn’t be bothered to get out of the car.

We made it to the campground and this was clearly a sign that this was our spot!

I was responsible for Friday dinner, I made the classic Swedish Fish!

Thanksgiving

I was considering going to ski a half day at Big Bear today before the Thanksgiving dinner, but I didn’t really feel it was worth it when I had no one to go with, only one slope was open and they would still charge me close to full price.
Me and Mika went for a bike ride along the beach instead.

It didn’t take us long before we got restless and ended up here.

Turkey dinner with the United Colors of Benetton family.

End of day 2

A lot more people that expected. So happy the ski season has finally started!

Mammoth opening weekend

Mid November opening, hell yeah we’ll be there!

Conditions were as epic as expected… but hey, there’s snow, and it’s only November.

I’m in better shape this year so I didn’t actually get very tired, but there’s only two slopes open and there’s just so many times you can go up and down before you run out of creativity and feel it’s time to wind down with a beer.

We went to the Mammoth Brewing Company, I’ve been wanting to go for a while. Beer is ok, I like drinking local, but the logo makes me uncomfortable.

Pasadena Designer Con

Went to Designer Con in Pasadena.

Found Martin!

It was a lot of people there and I got tired, but we saw Barrel Man! Apparently this is a big thing in the Philippines and can be found in touristy gift shops etc. Adorable!

Swedish Hollywood wife

Me and my buddy went to GravLax for a quick drink. When we got there we noticed that they were filming inside, but it wasn’t a huge production, and this is Los Angeles where we’re kind of used to that stuff so we didn’t really pay that much attention.

It wasn’t until the girl behind the piano introduced the next act that I realized they were filming for the reality show Swedish Housewives of Hollywood and my favorite wife Gunilla Persson was there.

Off course I did everything I could to stay out of the frame and avoid eye contact, but my friend managed to sneak in a couple of photos and I had to kick his shins to stop him from asking if I could have my photo taken with GP.
