Halloween

My least favorite American holiday is here! I’m getting more and more used to it though, and I get to hang out with my friends and that always makes me happy!

I’m one of those people that don’t think kids should eat the nasty American candy so I bought a bag of fruits and forced my friends to decorate them with scary faces.

We made dessert pizza, super yum!

Wiz Khalifa at the House of Blues

I didn’t decide if I wanted to go until the very last minute, but I am glad I did. It was a great show and I had a ton of fun, despite all the smoke from the funny smelling cigarettes. 

El Segundo Brewing Company

Me and Mika took our bikes down to El Segundo Brewing Co for some beer tasting.

Started our 1h ride home before we got to drunk so we could get home before the sun set.

Cutter’s Pizza

Asher got into a little bit of trouble with one of his skis in Chile so it had to go to the ski doctor. Turns out the ski shop is not far from a pizza place I’ve heard about, it’s supposed to be authentic Swedish pizzas and I’ve been super excited to go visit!

Ah man, it looked so promising but it was such a disappointment. Didn’t taste like Swedish pizza at all. It had no flavors and didn’t have the texture a Swedish pizza is supposed to have. So bummed out. At least I got pizza salad, so that was a plus.

Made it to the ski shop to pick up the skis, it put me back in a good mood again.

Ouch!

Oktoberfest

My friends are pretty awesome. And also, we don’t like other people, so we throw our own Oktoberfest party so we don’t have to interact with people we don’t know.

When you’ve accepted a new job offer and given your notice at your old work, you start to slack off… I took half day off to go golfing.

Columbus Day hike

It’s Columbus Day! He was a bit of an ass, but I got the day off so me and my neighbor went hiking in Solstice Canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Trying on bridesmaids dresses

Turns out, when you are selected to be a bridesmaid at a friends wedding, you get to try on dresses 5 months in advance, that’s crazy! We are all pretty easy going though so it went smooth. I only had one request and that was for the dress to have straps so I didn’t have to be one of those girls that walk around at the party being uncomfortable and pulling up my dress all the time to make sure my boobs won’t fall out. Everyone else was game for that as well, so we’re all good!

Found a dress that everyone liked after not too long. They didn’t have the dress in my size so I ordered a size smaller. I guess I’m gonna have to cut back on those ice cream dinners. I’ve got 5 months to make it happen!
