Cirque Du Soleil

We went to see the Cirque Du Soleil show Totem in Santa Monica. The show was pretty cool, but there were no photos allowed.

Free Museum Day

Today was free museum day in Los Angeles. We headed to LACMA, as did a lot of other people.

I’ve been to LACMA many times before, but I’ve been busy socializing so I haven’t really paid attention. They do have some really cool original art!

Bikeathon

It’s good to have friends that like to stay active when you are of the restless kind that doesn’t like to stay in on the weekends.
We went for a long bike ride today!

We made it all the way down to Hermosa Beach and got rewarded before heading back home!

It was a 21.5 mile bike ride, but it didn’t feel that long at all. Good friends and gossiping made it feel like we were back in no time.

Scandinavian Film Festival

Today was the first day of the Scandinavian Film Festival. Excited to see some “Swedish Art House Movies” as my friend put it.

The Dreaded Stairs

I got annoyed last weekend when my legs got tired from skiing. I have to work on those muscles…

Los Angeles is so dry! It’s supposed to be all green this time of the year!

First Fridays

It’s First Fridays season at the Natural History Museum again!

They have the Becoming LA exhibit which I was really excited about. Definitely worth checking out.

I think this is the best backdrop a DJ can ask for!

The museum also featured “the Silk Road” which was interesting, I wanna go back and pay more attention to it.

This gave me a flashback to my childhood.

Mammoth Day 2

The conditions were still kind of dull today, but since it’s Monday, there were almost no one else on the mountain!

Half day of skiing was perfect for a couple of tired legs, and we got to ride home watching the sunset!

Ski Mammoth

Once my brother with family was on the way to the airport yesterday, it didn’t take me many minutes until I was in a car on the way up to Mammoth for a couple of days of play in the snow. We have had a really crappy snow season so far, but I’m happy as long as I get to see some snow.
Today wasn’t epic, but still a lot of fun!

Star Eco Station

A good thing with having friends and family in town is that you get to do things that you normally won’t do in your every day life. I’ve been wanting to go to the Star Eco Station in Culver City for quite some time and we had a few hours to kill before the family had to head back to the airport.

Star Eco Station take care of exotic animals that has been smuggled into the country or given up for any other reason.
They give tours and you get to pet some of the animals, you can even have birthday parties here!

Manhattan Beach

I used to live two blocks away from this beach, but I rarely go down to South Bay nowadays.
