I’m returning the car today – there were a lot of things I wanted to take care of before, like changing the oil and giving it a wash, but fixing the flat tire was all I had time to.

I think Gainey’s is really benefitting from being the first winery you hit on the way from Santa Barbara. I’m gonna have a wine cellar like this one day!

Cats
W is out of town so I went over to check on the cats – they are so cuddly! I told them to stay off the booze.
Birthday Party
There are only a limited amount of people in this world under the age of 10 that I really care about. Micha is one of them. I was hanging out with him almost everyday for 9 months when he was still in his mothers tummy. I call him Sven and gonna teach him how to ski when he gets older.
Dentist
It’s always fun to go to the dentist! They thought I needed a “deep clean” whatever that is. But since it is included in the insurance am paying anyway, I might as well use it.
Starbucks
Starbucks has this thing that if you bring your own cup you get 10 cents off on your beverage. I bought the $1 reusable plastic cup – to save the world and money. Unfortunately, the cleaners at work does not seem to get it and threw away the cup – twice – even thought it had my name on it and was tucked away in the cabinet. That pissed me off so I bought a real cup instead. We’ll see how long I get to keep this one.

I have not been hiking in a long time, and what’s a better way to beat a jet lag then to go hiking?
