Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with friends and beers on a rooftop.

Getting ready
Hanging out with a cuddly dog makes me wanna get a dog.
Surströmming
Ended the day as per usual in Veronica and Erik’s apartment.
Surströmming is a delicacy in Sweden, it’s fermented canned fish and is ranked one of the stinkiest foods in the world by the people who knows. I have never had it and nor have I had a desire to try it.
Asher really wanted to try it though so we bought a can.
We got a lucky as it turned out a friend really likes it and could show the best practices.
I didn’t have the guts to try it but it actually didn’t smell half as bad as I thought it would.
I was better off with vegetarian sushi wrapped in soy paper.
June Lake Brewing Co.
We stayed in June Lake this time and visited the brewery. Definitely a Must Do if you stay in June Lake!
On the road to Mammoth
Had breakfast at Carls Jr.
Possibly the grosses chicken sandwich I’ve had. I had to remove the chicken after one bite cause it was disgusting. Still couldn’t finish it.
Made it to the mountain, this was our office for the day!
Got back to the house and had a bunch of stuff to take care of.
X-mas party and a bunch of beers
I was invited to a X-mas party at the Winn and since I’m several beers behind in my beer calendar I brought them all to the party.
Started off with the Speakeasy Scarlett Red Rye Ale. I am a big fan of the Speakeasy brewery.
Second beer was the Guinness Nitro IPA. Interesting but I’ve had better IPA’s in my life.
Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat, didn’t finish. I gave it away after a sip.
Magic Hat Vinyl Amber Lager, it was ok.
Had the last beer on the rooftop, watching the sunset.
