no.18 Redbridge

Todays beer: Redbridge, gluten free sourdough beer.

Cool I thought at first, but then… I noticed it said Aunheuser-Busch, Inc. on the label. Yes, that is the big commercial brewery that is behind Budweiser and buy every brewery in the world that comes in their way (including Stella, Becks, Boddingtons to name a few) so they can get monopoly on the US beer market. To sum it up – I dont like Aunheuser Busch and I try to make a point not to drink their beers.

But here I am, holding one of their beers in my hand. The first taste is not bad, taste like Christmas, I try to figure out what it is when I realize it taste a little like the Swedish drink Julmust. But then the taste goes flat and it feels like they try to cover it up with lots of bubbles. Its a little better than bud light, but not very much.
It’s still cool that its gluten free

4% alc./vol.

Im feeling nice today, I’ll give it 2 out of 5.

Note: This was the first beer that I did not finish – which probably means I should give it a 1 out of 5.

no.14 Mythos

Todays beer: Mythos Lager from Mythos Brewery, Greece.
5% alc./vol
Not so impressed, 2 out of 5.

no.4 Hop Wallop

Today’s beer was Hop Wallop from Victory Brewing Company, Downingtown, Pennsylvania, US. 8.5% alc./vol

This one was super bitter, drinking it was like eating the peel off a lemon. I cant really say I enjoyed this beer, maybe a beer you have to get used to?
I give it only 2 out of 5.

Arriba Importada Light from El Salvador

A light beer, not good, but still better than Bud or Coors Light. Since it is a light beer but still drinkable I’ll give it 2 out of 5.

December 1

Behind today’s door in my advent calendar was Cerveza Suprema from El Salvador.

Eeeeeeeeh, is what I felt about it. I dont drink a lot of lagers nowadays, I dont think they taste much. I give Cerveza Suprema a 2 out of 5.
