Stone Brewing co.

I love the Stone Brewing Company and was super excited to visit the brewery in Escondido!
We got there early and had time for a beer out on the patio before the tour of the brewery.

Chinatown By Night

I helped out during a photo shoot in downtown, right by Wurstkuche, so we popped in for a quick beer. I heard some rumors that they will open a new one in May on Lincoln Blvd, not far from us!
We stopped by Chinatown for dinner on the way home.

After Work Walk

I had to give my body some rest and have not done my usual after work run this week. I got a new camera on Tuesday and was dying to try it out so I went for a walk this afternoon.

The Bird of Paradise, Los Angeles official flower.

There’s a lot of these little Mexican joints in my neighborhood, ever time I walk by one I think to myself I should try one. I should really try one!

Reached the goal, the supermarket. Egg, milk, beers and juice, all you need to survive!

The sun sets over Marina del Rey.

no. 25 Home for the Holiday

The last beer for this years calendar was Home for the Holiday, American Brown Ale, brewed by High & Mighty Beer Co, Massachusetts, USA
7% alc./vol.

I had picked this out as my 25th beer already at the store, and it was well worth the wait. I’m glad I got to end the journey with a 5 out of 5, and I am already excited for next year!

no. 24 Lhasa Beer

Lhasa Beer from Tibet Lhasa Brewery, Lhasa, Tibet, China. “Imported from the roof of the world”
Pilsner or lager, cant quite tell or find a good source that can confirm, lets just call it beer! 4.6% alc./vol.

I like the colors of the label, very playful. I give this beer 4 out of 5, a beer I would be happy to drink again!

no. 23 Brrr Seasonal Ale

I was excited for this one and was thrilled when I got it today!
Brrr Seasonal Ale from Widmer Brothers Brewing Co, Portland, Orlando, USA
7.2% alc./vol.
This one is a keeper! 5 out f 5!

no. 22 Old Jubilation Ale

Today I got Old Jubilation Ale from Avery Brewing Company, Boulder Colorado, USA
Super excited to get a “real” beer after all those wheat beers I’ve gotten lately.
8.3% alc./vol.

I usually dont like super strong beers, and 8% is stretching it, but I dont taste the alcohol in this one (which is good for the beer, but not so good for me…). Over all very pleased with this one, and the label reminds me of an old Christmas card from home. 4 out of 5.

no. 21 Hangar 24 Orange Wheat

Whats up with all the wheat beers?
Have to say though, this was not that bad!
Handcrafted Orange Wheat from Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, California, USA
4.6% alc./vol.

Maybe it was the orange flavor that took away the weird wheat taste that I usually dont like. Yeah, I could drink this one again. 3 out of 5 which I believe is the most I’ve ever given a wheat!
