We’ve been talking about doing rail bikes for some time and they just open up The Sunburst Railbikes in Santa Paula, a couple of hours north of us. The round trip takes a few hours and it’s super cool!

We were running the Screenland 5K again.

Darrel was kind enough to pace himself the last few hundred meters so we could cross the finish line together! My final time was 29:28, happy to keep it under 30!

The amusement park on the Santa Monica pier is replacing one of their rides and we got to see the old ride fly off in the horizon. And free donuts.

To see snow in the backdrop of Los Angeles is not a super rare sight, it is actually something we’re used to and I love it. It is quite uncommon that they are this white though and that the snow level is this low.

There were a lot of people on top of my exercise hill trying to snap that perfect shot for their social media followers.

The world famous Los Angeles mountain lion “P22” recently passed away and we went to a festival that honored his life.

I knitted a baby cardigan and a beanie. The beanie was supposed to have cute bunny ears but they look more like devil’s ears, which is ok I guess. babies are little devils anyway.

Darrel threw out his couch a few months ago with the intention of buying a new one. He still hasn’t, but he adopted my beanbag so he can comfortably play video games.

The apartment looks really sad.

I ran a half marathon for fun, because why not? Slow and steady!

Potatoes and wine for dinner, well worth it!
