Tip Tap

We had some major issues with our old apartment at the beginning of this year when there were water dripping from the ceiling every time it rained. It took forever for the landlord to take care of it which resulted in angry tenants that moved out. 
We found a new place we love, but then the winter came and the rain started, and I again found myself waking up by water dripping. This time it made a little more sense, as was from the window and not from the ceiling in the middle of the room. The window was new when we moved in, but obviously not put in properly. I called the landlord and the handyman came out to “fix” it. Next rainfall came and more water came in. Handyman came out again, this time I got a brand new window and I was happy. Until last night  when it started again.

I live in a 3rd world country.

Christmas Party

I was invited to W’s company holiday party. 
Even though I did not know anyone except for one person at the entire party, I had a lot of fun. The 60 year old owner walked around to each table making sure we had a good time, rocked the dance floor and made a point to say goodbye to everyone. I also heard he is a big fan of Bauhaus, it seems to be a fun company to work for.
I also won the centerpiece from our table which made the night even better!

WeSC sale

My favorite clothing brand is probably WeSC, sort for We are the Superlative Conspiracy. They become popular some 10 years ago among Swedish hip hop and skate kids. They have two stores in Los Angeles and have a big warehouse sale twice a year.  We got there at 9am this morning and there was already a line to get in.

My co-worker had his annual christmas show, and we were there to support.

31st Annual SWEA Los Angeles Christmas Fair

I am always excited for the annual Swedish Christmas fair at the Shrine, Downtown LA. We got there a little early this year and was surprised to see there were a huge line to get in!
I don’t get to eat Semlor very often, so I take every opportunity I get to eat one!

The Swedish folk dancers were there.

I buy an ornament from this fair every year and have been looking for a Lucia with friends, this year I found one!

Fabric Shopping

We went to the fabric store to buy materials to make curtains. Once we got there we realized that maybe we should have a plan for what we want before we buy the fabric… The store was however cool, and I’m thinking curtains in jeans fabric. I think that’d look cool!

The Hollywood Sign

We’ve been living in our apartment for some 3 months now and we have a pretty decent kitchen, but I have to admit that I dont spend an awful lot of time in it. Today was the first time I noticed that we can see the Hollywood sign from our kitchen window!
