Graduation

I had my last class in the winter quarter, but the graduation ceremony for UCLA Extension was last night. I got my certificate in Advanced Print and Design Communication Arts, the ceremony was in Royce Hall at the UCLA campus.

I could attend the reception but had to run off for a project management class and had my friend W stand in for me during the ceremony. I think she looks kind of like me. Clever Little Fox was also graduating.
I met up with everyone again for late dinner and drinks at Napa Grille after my class. I’ve lived in Los Angeles for over 4 years now, but I am living in my own little world and never pay attention on whats going on around me so I never see celebrities unless someone point them out for me. My friends spotted Danny De Vito coming into the restaurant.

All Things on June 21st

June 21st was the last night I had with Olga, my car, before I returned her to the dealership. We took a trip up the coast to honer her.

I love this car and I have been going back and forth if I should keep it or not. It’s been a great 3 years, but I am off to new adventures!

June 21st is also go skating day, cheers to that!

And yes, June 21st is the longest day of the year and the official start of the summer, yay!

The Wizard of Oz @ Hollywood Forever

Every Saturday during the summer months, they project a classic movie on the mausoleum at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. We took our bikes for the opening screening this year; the Wizard of Oz.

It was a beautiful day and the line to get in was huge!
I bought a bike a couple of days ago, we named it Chad, cos that’s the name of Zorro’s horse, right? W has a foldable bike, it’s pretty awesome!
Picnic time before the movie starts! – Yes, this will be the summer of the picnics!
Movie screening at the Cemetery, it’s kind of creepy, but you get used to it…

Wurstküche

We checked out Wurstküche last night, a place downtown that serves beers and sausages. They have a bunch of different german and belgium beers, and when you order a beer, it is served in the appropriate glass that represent the beer. I like places like that!

Tons of weird sausages is on the menu, like alligator and rattlesnake & rabbit. I chickened out though, and ordered a veggie one.
It looks kind of gross, but it was delicious!
W got separated from us for a minute, how could we not see the big arrow pointing right at her?

Picnic on the Beach

We went to the local farmers market in the morning to pick up goodies to take down to the beach.

The Mar Vista farmers market is awesome and we found a lot of good stuff for our picnic.

We finished off the day with a stroll along the beach.

Beach Day

We headed down to Laguna Beach this morning, it’s a nice little town about 1.5 hours south of Los Angeles, and they allow dogs on the beach!

I jumped in the ocean for the first time this year, it was freezing cold!
We had a pretty not-so-good lunch, but the chilled white was good.
They had a Scandinavian style cafe, so we did get an excellent dessert at least!
Went back to chill at the beach for a bit again after lunch.
After the beach day we went to see our friend Logan starring in a play at Claire Trevor School of the Arts, University of California, Irvine.

After the show we took a stroll and went for dinner at the Balboa Island.

And look, I was asked out for prom after dinner! Or maybe this was meant for somebody else…

The Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire

We went to the Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire, it was pretty much all about boobs.

You could also spend lots of cash on handmade crafts.

They had a bunch of shows and entertainment.

The drunkard and pig thief!

A gigant Jenga,

Sid has grown up to be a big… girl?

Sid have been terrorizing me all weekend since his dad has been out. Now I have scratch marks all over my body.

Sid’s dad also think Sid might be a girl, I think that’s hilarious! I’m still pretty sure he is a boy though.
