That’s not my name

We were road-tripping for a summer weekend in Mammoth and stopped by in Lancaster for some junk food. I have learned to say Yes right away whenever the barista/cashier is repeating my name, it doesn’t matter how many times I say it, they still don’t get it right.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner for three people for a weekend. This is when we realized it’s awesome to be grown ups.

Gummy bears

Heading up to Mammoth for the weekend and found a 3 lb bag of gummy bears at Target. I think we have enough gummy’s for a while.

LA Dodgers

I went to a baseball game today, a game that is slightly confusing to begin with. Today all the players played with number 42 on their backs, it made it even more confusing.
I got explained to me that number 42 belonged to Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play in the major leagues in the modern era, and they did this every year to honor him. That’s kind of cool!

Thai festival

We went to a Thai festival, there was a ton of food and stuff to look at. I only managed to take one photo, and that was at this awesome looking motel.
I need to start taking more photos again.

Lots of socks

Tomorrow is World Down Syndrome Day and you’re supposed to wear different socks on your feet to show support. I wore different shoes instead. No one noticed.

Earthquake safe

I woke up this morning and decided I should earthquake proof my home. I got this far until I got distracted;

Point of interest

We drive by this sign all the time on the way home from Mammoth, I don’t know why I find it so hilarious.

Dead scooter

My scooter and I have not been speaking the same language lately. I’ve been quite upset with it but then I figured out that the battery was dead and it was just in need of some love.

Dentist

Went to the dreaded dentist today. He wasn’t very happy with me, but I’m not very happy with him either, so that should equal things out.

SWEA Christmas fair

They moved the Swedish Christmas Fair from the Shrine to the Los Angeles Theater, and it was a bit of a mess. It made me very uninspired. I hope they get their stuff together again for next year. The Lucia was still very awesome though.
