More Family Time!

Started the day early with my mom training.

Stopped by the Stora Sundby Castle on the way home.

Picnic in the park by the castle!

When we came home, the girls showed off their pony Musse.

Grandpa on the trampoline!

I love Sweden during the summer, the days go on forever, so there were still some time to jump in the pool before it gets dark.

Ended the night with Kubb after dinner, the girls won!

Family Day

I had been in the country for less than 24 hours, when my sister put me to work.

My sous-chefs never disappoint!

Cinnamon buns!

We went on a short road trip in the afternoon and drove by the present King of Sweden’s summer residence.

Dinner with the family in the sunset!

It’s about to begin!

She said yes!

The best man figured out what to do with the ring after all.

The bridesmaids bouquet.

It’s good to hide behind when drinking out of the flask!

A bunch of us had helped out with the making of the photo booth, it turned out great!

Super excited for the wedding today! In just a few moments Fei and Andy will become FANDY!

The best man is not quite sure what to do with the ring, is he supposed to take it out of the box or what?

Why do rehearsal the day before when you can do it just a few minutes before the the event?

The wedding ceremony was on top of Baldwin Hills in Culver City, the hill is great for work-out so there were a bunch of random people mixing in with wedding guests.

Martin, the one who introduced the couple to each other, had got a license to marry them.

The bride, escorted to the ceremony by her mother and sister in law.

They have hired an accordion player! Downtown Los Angeles in the background.

The groom is ready to go!

Fei and Andy is getting married!
I woke up bright and early to make the wedding cake for today’s celebrations.

It’s been 5 years since I did anything like this before, but it was a lot of fun, and it did not take as long as I expected! I’m glad they only wanted a small one though, and not one with 10 different layers.

Very soon after, it was time for hair and make up for the bride and bridesmaid, and off course time for the bridesmaid to touch up her speech.

We had decorated our place with traditional Taiwanese signs for good luck.

Then the groom arrived with gifts in exchange for the bride, but first he had to make it past a bunch of questions.

He also had to serve tea for all family members before everyone could agree that he is a keeper.
