Venice Beach

So I bought this cheap waterproof camera. I’ve been wanting one for quite some time, and even though it overexposes and distorts all the images, I kind of like it! So much fun to play around in the water!

We spent all morning on the beach, jumping in the water and playing ball. The kids was super bummed and got all cranky after lunch when I said we should take a stroll along the Ocean Front Walk to look at all the freaks.  There was a broken record that kept on playing “But you promised we would go back to the beach!” Until we found a skateboard shop.

Best purchase with the Christmas money ever!

Point Mugu

Grown ups wanted to spend the day shopping at the outlets, the young crowd spent the day at the beach instead!

Southbound

After a couple of nights in San Francisco, it was time to drive back to Los Angeles. I wanted the kids to be a little exhausted so they wouldn’t have much energy left to fight in the backseat. I told them they’ll get $5 each if they ran up the hill and back.

Alcatraz

Since I took over the role as the tour guide, we have managed to follow the time schedule. It was a little tight this morning though, because there were a lot of distracting things on the route that needed attention. Like a huge christmas tree that had to be photographed etc. But since I had already printed the tickets, we just cut in line and just made it to the departure that was planned.
This is my third time at Alcatraz, but it is totally worth it!

After Alcatraz we had to pay a visit to the sea lions at Pier 39.

After Alcatraz, sea lions, lunch and coffee, we spent the rest of the day with M&M and hanged out in Martins studio for a while.

Did You Order A Santa?

Hahaha, no, I did not. But apparently that is what grandma does every Christmas. My brother got to be santa this year.

LA Kings Game

We went to the Staple Center to see Los Angeles Kings play Dallas Stars.

The kids were excited at first, but quickly fell asleep as their parents had not followed the suggested day schedule I gave them. They skipped the “nap on the beach” – I think they went shopping instead.

The game was a little boring anyway, so we left before they finished. LA Kings lost at the end.

Family is Here!

I have been pretty excited about this day for quite some time! My brother and his family is finally here! They brought a suitcase full of goodies for me, I think I am set for the rest of this year.

It took about 3 seconds for the kids to create a storm and find the computer. Björn got the best seat in the house.

Thanksgiving

We celebrated the official American Turkey day at Fandyland. Good food, good friends, good time!
