4th of July

I don’t like pre set days when you’re supposed to have a helluva great time. I have a great time most days anyways, so these days just come across as fake to me and I like to spend them with close friends where we don’t have to pretend we are having a great time.
The Winn is still vacationing, but we have keys and she has a roof top.
The cats are always happy to see me. They’re good at posing for head shots.

Cat Duty at the Winn

I have been put on cat duty.

Didn’t take Whitey many seconds before he crawled up in my lap. Awww, he loves me!

As I was about to leave I noticed this – is it something we should be worried about?

Since I was lazy this morning and didn’t walk to work, it was nice to get a text message in the afternoon asking if I wanted to hike up the hill before dinner!

Zack & Ina at Full Belly Farm

We made it up to Sacramento last night and continued the drive out to Full Belly Farm after lunch.
Our driver think he is cool.

This tower is apparently a big deal, so I had to take a photo of it.

First sign, we made it!

We got there early and had plenty of time to set up camp and relax before the party started.
Camping weddings are awesome!

Some wardrobe adjustments and we are good to go!

Very awesome handcrafted signs everywhere! Everyone had to take photos!

Sweet dinner and then dance all night!

Roadtripping

We are heading up to NorCal for a farm wedding. The big question was which shoes to wear for the party. I settled for Vans. Black Vans works for everything!

Go Japan!

I got a new fancy haircut today, then off to Joxer Daily’s for the Japan game. I was wearing blue for Japan, but that didn’t seem to help, they lost anyway.

Cold Ramen

Cold ramen might actually be my favorite form of ramen, after Tantanmen that is.
Mika cooked for us tonight. Delicious!

Photo Shoot in the Pool

A friend was doing a photo shoot in the pool for a project. She brought out the big guns, I was happy with my $50 point & shoot camera! I’m starting to get a hang of it now.

Headquarters Campground

It turned out that the very awesome campsite we found was not actually a designated campsite, so a ranger came by this morning and asked us to move our tents. We got a spot a little further up, but it wasn’t as cosy, so the boys went scavenging and found a spot at a campground just down the road.

I didn’t really want to move campgrounds at first, it seemed like a hassle to pack everything up, but I didn’t wanna be queen about it so I just kept quiet and let someone else make the decision.
It turned out the move was great! No more surround sound from the several large parties that was playing loud music from 8am to 3am. The music was really starting to do my head in.
We set up new camp and had lunch. Holy crap, these people brought the whole fridge with them! It’s only 4 of us yo!

The new campground also had running water, so we could wash up and cool down without having to run down to the river.

We headed into “town” to have an ice cream and pick up new ice for our food and beverages and got back ready to jump in the river.

After an hour or so of play, we saw this thing swimming by and declared the party being over, so we headed back to the tents for a nap and dinner.

Late night snack; grilled banana!
