Halloween at LACMA

The pineapple I got earlier during the day turned out to come in handy, I used it as a re-fill throughout the night, very eco-friendly!

I had not planned to go to the LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) Muse Costume Ball, but managed to score free tickets, and since there was an open mashed potatoes buffet, I thought why not?

It seems like every party in LA have a photo booth, I love it! Here’s me and my pineapple hanging out with some buddies.

Dia De Los Muertos

We went to Hollywood Forever Cemetery to celebrate the Day of the Dead, a Mexican version of All Saints Day.

Lots of people, music, dances and festivities.

There was an art exhibition in the mausoleum.

And off course greasy mexican food!

I had to buy a pineapple, thought it would be beneficial for what to come later in the evening.

A Night at the ABC Casa

I took a nap after my hike and woke up with the brilliant idea of shaving Whitey.

He was in heaven, getting attention from everyone!
We tried to make a dent in out bar so we invited a few friends over.
Colorful drinks!

Costco with the Family

A little disappointed, they didnt have my favorite socks or my favorite Rum, but we did find a 40 pack of popcorn for $10, which, as Leogra pointed out, is 40 dinners for $10!

Friday I’m in Love

Karaoke night!

The guys did an awesome version of Listen To Your Heart.
I dont remember which number we did here, but I’m sure we nailed it!

The aftermath;

Cheers to the ABC Casa!

I got a text from B (also know as Leogra) yesterday that I had to be home tonight cos he is making lasagna. I thought cool, I just have to do the final for my class and got tons of work to do, but that can wait when you’ve got someone cooking for you! He had also invited a bunch of friends over and I managed to finish and send in my final just before everyone arrived.

B had bought bubbly wine to go with the food, we drink a lot of wine, and a bunch of it is bubbly, a great opportunity to cheer for A (me) for surviving my project management class.
Cheers for A!

C (also known as Winndesigns) recently got offered and accepted a full time design job, cheers for C!

And then out of nowhere B announce he got his work visa approved! The little punk lied to me when I asked him about it yesterday, he said he will know in a couple of days when he already knew! Cheers to B!

Mr & Mrs Juvasvat

Anya and Michael became Mr and Mrs. September 10, 2010 at Lanikuhonua Beach, Oahu, Hawaii. The ceremony was held on the beach.

The wedding party had to do the regular photography sessions

while the rest of could meet and greet.
Pretty awesome table settings!

The bride and the groom’s first dace.

Sunday

Started off as a lazy Sunday, cooked breakfast and had friends over for Mimosas.

We were gonna have omelets, but it didnt turn out the way we wanted so we made fancy scrambled eggs instead.
After some chill at home we took off to the Getty Museum.
Ive never been a huge fan of the art at the Getty, not my cup of tea, but I would love to have one of these to lounge on in the living room!
The view from the Getty is stunning. It was a polluted LA today, but we could still see most of the city.

Book Signing with Martin Hsu

My friend Martin Hsu had a book signing for his latest book Multi Grain, we went to check it out.

A lot of people came out to meet the artist.
The book and a fan!

I got my book signed and doodled, got book no 17 out of 500.
