Mammoth

It’s pretty awesome to wake up to snow covered cars!

In a way better mood today and super excited to ski!

Had to stop skiing eventually and drive home. The drive was pretty brutal with a snow storm all the way down in the Mojave Dessert, only 90 minutes away from home!

June Lake Brewing Co.

I have to admit I didn’t get many hours of sleep last night and missed the POWDER DAY alarm and first wake up call. Friends kept calling though and we made it up to Mammoth!
The weather conditions was great for skiing, but I wasn’t quite feeling it.

We stayed in June Lake this time and visited the brewery. Definitely a Must Do if you stay in June Lake!

Throwback Thursday

My friends are doing Throwback Thursdays where they’re showing movies from our childhood. I generally don’t care so much about the movie, I’m mostly in it for the gossip, and because the cats loves me.

June Mountian

Skiing June Mountain today.

Hanging with the queen of selfies today so you’ll have to get used to seeing photos of me.

After ski beers!

Fashion Police said “no”, but I don’t care, it’s cold out!

Yep, making progress on that puzzle! Today I learned you don’t say “puzzle a puzzle”, the proper english is “to lay a puzzle”. Well, at least everyone else had something to laugh about for the rest of the evening.

The very awesome Mr and Mrs Nelson!

New snow

Got a bunch of fresh snow over the night so we’re pretty excited to get up today.

Waiting by Chair 23 on ski patrol to do their job so they can open the mountain.

Partying it up in the house at night!

X-mas party and a bunch of beers

I was invited to a X-mas party at the Winn and since I’m several beers behind in my beer calendar I brought them all to the party.

Started off with the Speakeasy Scarlett Red Rye Ale. I am a big fan of the Speakeasy brewery.

Second beer was the Guinness Nitro IPA. Interesting but I’ve had better IPA’s in my life.

Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat, didn’t finish. I gave it away after a sip.

Magic Hat Vinyl Amber Lager, it was ok.

Had the last beer on the rooftop, watching the sunset.

Thanksgiving

I love our annual Thanksgiving potluck. I learned a few years ago to stay the heck out of the kitchen.

No potluck is complete without some Chinese food.

I don’t really care about any other food when there’s mashed potatoes on the table.

Snow Summit

A few of us decided last minute to head up to Snow Summit for a day of skiing.
It’s good to be back here. Need more snow, but it’s only early in the season.

Had a pretty epic veggie burger for lunch.
