We went to see the Head and the Heart at the Music Box in Hollywood. I was super tired and I think they were a little too slow for me, but a good night over all!

TV on the Radio at Hollywood Bowl
There were actually quite a few bands playing at the bowl tonight. TV on the Radio was headlining, but there were also Arctic Monkeys, Panda Bear, and my favorite Smith Western.
Drinking wine out of plastic cups, so classy!
We used to drink this wine all the time when we were in Chile 7 years ago (wow!), the locals laughed at us cos they did not consider it being a great wine… I have not seen it since, but someone bought a bottle tonight!
FYF Fest
We were gonna go to Sunset Junction last weekend and was super bummed when it got cancelled, so we were excited for this weeks FYF Fest instead.
There were quite a few good bands playing, with Broken Social Scene as my highlight, but the festival itself was pretty terrible organized. If we come back next year I will be better prepared for a not so well organized festival.
Rodrigo y Gabriella at Hollywood Bowl
We kicked off this Hollywood Bowl season with Rodrigo y Gabriella. I knew they were good on record, but they really blew me away live! And then fireworks at the end of the show!
Foster the People at the El Rey
We saw Foster the People at the Echo back in January and really liked them so we went to check out their sold out show at the El Rey tonight.
They have grown a lot in 6 months! Lots of energy on stage!
Tim Burton & Saint Motel at LACMA
I have never been a big fan of Tim Burton, he has done some cool stuff, but I often just find him weird and creepy. I still wanted to go check out his exhibit at LACMA though, and thought it was a great opportunity to go when Saint Motel was playing at the museum as well.
We were not allowed to take photos inside the Burton exhibit, but I sneaked one in anyway…
I was excited to see Saint Motel – I missed them last time they played in LA. Silent Comedy opened for them, they were ok.
Saint Motel were really good! The LACMA lights made a pretty good backdrop as well!
The Ark
We went to a free show at the Satellite. The Hundred Days and a bunch of other bands were playing, but I got more excited over the sticker I found backstage.
Radio Dept. at the Troubadour
I wasn’t planning on going to see Radio Dept. tonight as I saw them just a few months ago and was not so impressed with their performance. But a friend asked me last night if I wanted to go, so I thought why not?
They played at the Troubadour, and it seemed like this venue suits them better! I am glad I went, I had a lot of fun!
Prince 21 Night Stand
Prince are doing 21 concerts in LA, tickets for the shows at the Forum are dirt cheap, you can get them for $25! Totally worth it even if you are not a Prince fan! We went to the show last night.
The show was amazing! 3 hours of awesomeness with 3 encores, and Stevie Wonders!
I am now a converted Prince fan and I am gonna try to catch another one of his shows at the Forum this spring!
DOM at the Satellite
Saw DOM at the Satellite last night. I am still not quite sure if I love this band or just like them. I love some of their songs and the singer reminds me of Shaun White, but live they sometimes kind of reminded me of Blink 182. The song Jesus is very very good though!
