Drink and Draw

We headed to Casey’s Irish Pub in downtown LA, there’s a Drink and Draw club that meets there every week. I am a pretty useless drawer, but it was still fun!


Getting into work early = Getting home from work early!

I was asked to get into work one hour early today, I set the alarm super early hoping I’d get my butt up and do some work before I had to be in the office. It was a little depressing to see the screen on my phone.

5am – When I should wake up to get some work done at home
6am – When I should wake up to actually be awake when I get into the office
6:45am – My usual wake up call, the time I had to leave home today.
7:30am – Usually my last chance to wake up so I can be at work at 8am.

But, getting into work early also means I can get home early, my co-worker told me to go home and crack open a bottle of wine, so I did! It’s been a lot of drinking wine out of plastic cups lately, so it was nice to do it the proper today!
And then for dinner… I don’t think I want to know what is in the Abba Fiskbullar, but they are delicious!

Day Two at the Summit

A new day at the summit, yesterday was a lot about SEO – Search Engine Optimization, in a nutshell how search engines like google and yahoo will find your page. Today was more about web design, and why design matters, as well as marketing.


There were a bunch of sessions throughout the day and they had different candy for each sessions. Hershey Kisses in the yahoo colors was for one of the sessions.

Yahoo! Merchant Summit

Came home around 10pm last night, had to get my things together and jump into bed so I could head back to the airport at 7am so I could catch a flight up to San Jose.

Since we are using Yahoo! for our store at work, my boss thought it was a good idea for me to attend the Yahoo! Merchant Summit.
I like to spread my stuff out, and I got a bunch of crap from Yahoo! that I could spread out on my bed!

LA Flea Market

Went to the LA Flea Market at the Dodger Stadium to see if we could pick up some stuff for the showroom at work.


The LA flea market was not as good as the Pasadena flea market, but there were still some cool stuff.

Twitter Party

We were hosting a Twitter party for our followers at work. It’s a weird thing, but our followers loves it; it is basically a one hour live chat where people can ask questions to the owner/developer/CEO. I just had to make sure everything was running smoothly and answer any questions that came in in regards to our online store and any other general questions I could answer.

Printing Party V3.0

We all got together for a printing party, exploring different techniques to print on different surfaces.


I worked on tote bags for a project I’ve been working on for a while now. I will hopefully get a website up for this project soon…
