We got a new camera for work, it’s super sweet! I’m a Nikon girl but am starting to love this one!

We are only allowed to listen to classical music at work, so most of the days we end up not listening to any music at all. It is kind of huge for someone who once was addicted to music. It is driving me insane at times though and I am bouncing off the walls. I have to find ways to get my mind off the silence and it often involve terrorizing my co-worker that’s sitting across the room. Poor girl.

I am responsible to order office supplies for the CalBaby HQ. I have no idea why that task was assigned to a girl in the graphics department rather than to someone in the purchase and financial department, but that’s the way it is and I am ok with it. I get to send out cheerful email like “Hello Everyone, I have now purchased ink refills for our pens, please do not throw away your pens when you are low on ink, come to me instead and I will refill them for you. This will help saving both money and the environment… “ Which results in thumbs up from the boss and everyone is tagging their pens with their names to not loose them. If someone happen to loose their pen, they come to me in shame to request a new one. I always make a big deal out of it just for shits and giggles.

One single pack of pens in a huge box! There were plenty of room for the pens in other boxes, why did this pack have to travel by itself? Not very environmentally friendly!

My boss want to start doing video blog and me to learn Final Cut Pro so I can edit the videos in style. When I pointed out to her that Final Cut Pro is a program that works for Mac’s only and we work on PC’s in the office, she said “Why don’t you look into getting an MacBook for the art department then?”

They’ve got a huge flea market at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena once a month.

You can find lots and lots of junk, and some cool stuff as well. I thought this wine stand was kind of cool and can see me having something like this in my future home.

When ever I took photos of things I always got a lot of questions about what the photos were for, so I stopped pretty quick. I was also not in the photography mood, so I have to go back another day to take photos of more junk.

The company I work for was one of the sponsors of the HollyRod foundation festival. It was a red carpet event with a bunch of b-lists and children celebrities. Here’s some behind the scene’s photos.

We wanted to get a photo of Holly Robertson Peete with our product and was chasing her assistant around, he kept on saying “give me a few minutes”. We got bored and started to goof around instead.

They had a photo booth that we tried out. Came back to our boss 40 or so minutes later, with no photo of Holly and our product, but with this…

Our boss thought it was fun, but sent us back to complete our mission. We finally got the photo we wanted, but I cant show it just yet…

The word is out – I’m learning Spanish!

I already had the first three phrases down, got Y TU? right away and will hopefully have the rest of it down by tomorrow!

I’m not a huge fan, I don’t think they do a good job on their frosting. But they have open an office right across the street from my work, and when our office manager was gonna go over and welcome them to the neighborhood, I told her to bring some hand soap as a welcome gift since their staff probably washes their hands about a million times a day. It seemed like it was appreciated, cos a few hours later we got a delivery with freshly made cupcakes!

I was just about to leave from work today when I had to go out in the warehouse to pick something up. These two barrels with hair conditioner was standing there.

I could not help but to think about the Swedish comedian Robert Gustafsson and when he is doing the scene where he is keeping Torsten Flinck inside a barrel full of hair conditioner.
