Jansons Frestelse

I did my own meatballs for the first time the other day. And today I did another Christmas favorite, Jansons Temptation, or Jansons Frestelse as we like to call it.  I love Jansons and could probably eat it every day if I was allowed (potatoes in general is pretty awesome I think), but youre only allowed to eat Jansons on Christmas and special occasions. I have never done one before but have seen it being done. Turned out to be easy! I love to cook things that are easy.

One made with anchovy and one veg. option without! I cant wait to taste these and see how they turned out!

I have a bachelor in culinary arts, but my major was in baking which is a little different from cooking. Before getting into baking, I spent one semester learning the basics in cooking as well which often comes in handy.
Since I remember, I always used to love spending time in the kitchen, until I moved to Los Angeles when I totally lost my inspiration. I have really gotten into it again lately though. I think it might be because I finally have a proper kitchen to work in and friends that appreciate it.
I still really really dislike shopping though, but as long as someone else take care of the shopping part, I can cook every day!
