Ladybird vs Ladybug

I spent a bunch of time in the UK before moving to the US, I adapted fairly quickly to the American way of pronouncing and the different words, but there are still a few British words that I like to use to my friends amusement. Especially if I’m tired, stressed or spaced out, I automatically go back to default. Plus there is a few British words that I like better, so I keep on using them.
