TV on the Radio at Hollywood Bowl

There were actually quite a few bands playing at the bowl tonight. TV on the Radio was headlining, but there were also Arctic Monkeys, Panda Bear, and my favorite Smith Western. 

Drinking wine out of plastic cups, so classy!

We used to drink this wine all the time when we were in Chile 7 years ago (wow!), the locals laughed at us cos they did not consider it being a great wine… I have not seen it since, but someone bought a bottle tonight!

Malibu Canyon Dirt Dash

We did another 5k obstacle run today, and I was a little worried for how tired I would be since we went camping last night, but did way better than last time! I did the whole thing in 46 minutes, which is 10 minutes faster than the one we ran in May.

We went camping in Malibu last night, tons of fun! I was lazy with my camera though, so not that many photos this time.

Camping is the best preparation for a 5K mud run, right?

Stella McCartney had an event in her Beverly Hills store for the launch of her kids line of cloths. My boss wanted me to go and take some photos as we were sponsoring the event.

FYF Fest

We were gonna go to Sunset Junction last weekend and was super bummed when it got cancelled, so we were excited for this weeks FYF Fest instead.
There were quite a few good bands playing, with Broken Social Scene as my highlight, but the festival itself was pretty terrible organized. If we come back next year I will be better prepared for a not so well organized festival.

Dumpling Party

Our Czech friends made Czech dumplings. I always see these when we go skiing in Austria and always wondered what they were…

Comedy Show at Improv

I got tickets to a comedy show from a co-worker. I am not a big fan of American stand-up, I just don’t think most of them are that funny, but tonight was an awesome night! Best was Gina Yashere, but she is British, so maybe that’s why!
We were not allowed to take photos, but I sneaked one in after everyone had left.

Venice Canals

I was in no mood for taking photos today, but I went out anyway. Leo showed me how to do the HDR effect in photoshop which is kind of cool, but to much work I think. I prefer not doing a lot of post-production on my photos.
