Christmas Party
no.18 Redbridge
Todays beer: Redbridge, gluten free sourdough beer.
Cool I thought at first, but then… I noticed it said Aunheuser-Busch, Inc. on the label. Yes, that is the big commercial brewery that is behind Budweiser and buy every brewery in the world that comes in their way (including Stella, Becks, Boddingtons to name a few) so they can get monopoly on the US beer market. To sum it up – I dont like Aunheuser Busch and I try to make a point not to drink their beers.
But here I am, holding one of their beers in my hand. The first taste is not bad, taste like Christmas, I try to figure out what it is when I realize it taste a little like the Swedish drink Julmust. But then the taste goes flat and it feels like they try to cover it up with lots of bubbles. Its a little better than bud light, but not very much.
It’s still cool that its gluten free
4% alc./vol.
Im feeling nice today, I’ll give it 2 out of 5.
Note: This was the first beer that I did not finish – which probably means I should give it a 1 out of 5.
Rainy Day
My fohawk does not agree with rain so I stayed in most of the day even though I had a lot of Christmas stuff to take care of. After bumming around for most of the day I realized I had bought some red beets a few days ago that I wanted to cook. I had no idea how to cook them and thought it would take forever, but I looked it up online and it seemed fairly simple.
Wash them, cut them in half, sprinkle some olive oil, diced garlic and salt and pepper and then bake it in the owen for 30 minutes, super easy and delicious!
