We went for ice cream at Smultronstället in Söderköping, their ice creams are amazing!
After Eight chocolate mints, pear halves, ice cream and chocolate sauce! Who wants one?
Smultronstället is right by Göta Canal. The canal was built in the early 19th century and it connects the Baltic sea in the east of Sweden with Skagerrak in the west. It’s also called “the divorce ditch” as couples likes to rent boats during the summer and travel on the canal, it got a bunch of locks along the way, which always opens up for arguments…
My sister in law came up with filled bag of fresh wild chanterelles later in the afternoon, so we spent the late evening cleaning and eating them!
You have some interesting thoughts! Perhaps we should contemplate about attempting this myself.
