\nWe got up before the sun and drove 2.5 hours into the desert, we’re going camping with the REI. <\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nI get excited every time I see the windmills by Palm Spring, we were so busy talking about them this time so we missed our exit and had to do a little 6 mile detour.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nGot to our site around 9 am and set up camp. It was already hot by then.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nREI had a few events planned out for us, one of them was Geocaching. We got coupled up, handled a GPS receiver and sent off to the desert to find things, it was super fun!<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nOnce we found everything that was to be found we headed back to camp for lunch and chill in the shade.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nWe did rock climbing in the afternoon. I’ve never done it before but it was awesome! I can see myself getting into that, but I think I’ll stick to ski and golf.<\/p>\n
