\nIt’s always nice to do a hike the day after eating enough food that would feed a small village, it makes me feel a little better.<\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nWe saw this ladybird at the biginning of our hike, thinking it was cute, but isn’t it too cold and rainy for ladybirds?<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nIt’s been raining a whole bunch lately, so the trail was muddy.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nWe had to cross a stream a few times, I dont know what I was thinking cos I knew we were supposed to see a waterfall, but I was not prepared for water…<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nWe bumped into a bunch of ladybirds, and thought it was kind of cool.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nThen we looked around and realized we were in the middle of a ladybird invasion, they were everywhere!<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nI thought it was a little freaky and got uncomfortable after a while. Now I think I understand why Americans call them ladybugs.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nWe asked the ranger later and it turned out the ladybirds migrates here every year to hang out.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\nEnough with the ladybugs, we had a hike to do. Had to cross the stream again, lot of water! Water is fun to take photos of!<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nI think it was around here that I slipped and got a wet foot.<\/p>\n

\nThey were everywhere, I’m serious!<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nExcept for my wet foot, we all managed to stay clean and dry up until the very last stretch!<\/p>\n
