Today was the yearly Swedish Chrstmas fair at the Shrine, Downtown Los Angeles. One of my favorite events in LA!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Lots of crafts, gnomes and Santas!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\"\"<\/a>
\"\"<\/a>
\"\"<\/a>
\"\"<\/a>
\"\"<\/a>
\"\"<\/a>My first Semla in almost 4 years! I havn’t bought them at previous years fairs because the first year I was afraid the whipped cream would be fake whipped cream. Last year I had the same concerns and thought I could wait until I’d go to Sweden for Christmas. It turned out the cafe’s in my hometown had still not started making them when I was there for Christmas, so I was left without. This year, knowing I might run the risk of not getting one in Sweden, I could not resist getting one at the fair.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The whipped cream was real, yay! I got flashbacks to -06, eating a Semla and drinking hot chocolate while watching the winter Olympics before starting the 2 hour evening shift at the bakery.<\/p>\n

We bumped into what I believe was one of our previous kings.<\/p>\n
