\nPalms Neighborhood Council was seating the new board tonight. First off, saying good bye to the old one.<\/div>\n

\nThen swearing the oath and welcome the new board. Happy to see a younger board with fresh thoughts, but definitely not enough girls. Let’s fix that for 2016.<\/p>\n

\nI left my election report. Probably my worst report so far as I can not speak in front of 5 or more people at once, specially when it’s a bunch of new people that don’t know me.
\nAfter I left my report, I felt really intimidated and my confident was down the drain and I was thinking I should probably work on my public speaking skills. But do I really need to? I actually have no desire of doing speeches in front of a public, I like sitting in the background and I think I can do a better job if I am left in a dark room where I don’t have to speak to anyone. But yeah, you have to get out of your comfort zone every now and then to grow as a person.
\nI also think that if I were to speak about something that I had more experience in, like how to bake a bread loaf, how to tame a young horse or how to build a website, I would do a better job.
\nTeaching people stuff – fairly good at. Report back and re-tell stories – very bad at.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
