\nThere’s a ton of free museums in Washington DC and everyone has their own favorite. People kept telling me to go to The Smithsonian, but The Smithsonian is actually about 20 different museums so when I got to DC I just walked around to see what seemed interesting. <\/div>\n
\nI decided I wanted to see those important documents that stated that “This is our country now, whoever was here before can bugger off!” – Also known as the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. I figured they would be in the National Archives Museum.<\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nThere were no photos allowed, but I could not resist. They are in there!<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nBeer lunch, hell yeah! I miss these old Brit like, not dive like, pubs – I wish we had more of them in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nMy feet were still super tired today from all the walking yesterday. I kept walking today, but a lot slower and with a lot of breaks. There’s always something to look at though, so that’s cool!<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nThe Cherry Blossom Festival started today, but it’s been so cold on the east coast so the blossoms were not out yet. This is all supposed to be pink… I’ll have to come back some other year to check them out.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nKind of knackered I felt it was time to head back, have a beer and fall asleep early, but then I walked by the National Museum of American History and felt I should pop my head in and see what it was all about.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nThey had the vey first Star Spangled Banner on display which was cool, but then I got to tired and fed up with America that I had to leave. A beer was definitely over due.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nI figured one thing out over the past two days; if a building has pillars, it probably means it is important.<\/p>\n
