Started off the weekend with a hike up the stairs. I have a love-hate relationship with these stairs.<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-sRIKJv33dN0\/UfwLeZVPECI\/AAAAAAAALFE\/y_p4k6PCdbQ\/s1600\/1-baldwin-hills.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-sRIKJv33dN0\/UfwLeZVPECI\/AAAAAAAALFE\/y_p4k6PCdbQ\/s1600\/1-baldwin-hills.jpg?w=1200\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nCame back home and noticed my ginger had started to sprout! Turned out to be really easy to grow ginger, just dig the root in some dirt with plenty of water and let it sit for a couple of weeks and you will see magic!<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-NpbX2j-s_lA\/UfwLeJV5GKI\/AAAAAAAALFI\/9h4XCeH6Tvw\/s1600\/2-ginger.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-NpbX2j-s_lA\/UfwLeJV5GKI\/AAAAAAAALFI\/9h4XCeH6Tvw\/s1600\/2-ginger.jpg?w=1200\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nSince I still haven&#8217;t learned how to turn when I surf, I ding up the board pretty bad. I finally got a chance to bring it in to the shop today. I should start surfing where there&#8217;s no rocks so I don&#8217;t have to spend all my money getting the surfboard fixed up.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-wZQ9vcFw4OA\/UfwLeEVXbPI\/AAAAAAAALE4\/wyjL_bgTdao\/s1600\/3-surf.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-wZQ9vcFw4OA\/UfwLeEVXbPI\/AAAAAAAALE4\/wyjL_bgTdao\/s1600\/3-surf.jpg?w=1200\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nI&#8217;ve heard about &#8220;Fridays off the 405&#8221; that lately has turned into &#8220;Saturdays off the 405&#8221; at the Getty Center, but have never been.<br \/>\nGeographer was playing today so we headed up there to check it out.<br \/>\nParking was crazy and the beers were $10 (as expected), but it doesn&#8217;t really matter, because it is a free event and it&#8217;s fun!<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-KqQrml84bHE\/UfwLeh_bhwI\/AAAAAAAALFA\/L6b8U5ntPiQ\/s1600\/4-saturdays-off-405.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-KqQrml84bHE\/UfwLeh_bhwI\/AAAAAAAALFA\/L6b8U5ntPiQ\/s1600\/4-saturdays-off-405.jpg?w=1200\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nThe views from the Getty Center is always spectacular.
